• SBI Probationary Officers for 2015 – 16 Recruitment Notification Out

    India’s largest bank, State Bank of India has published the most awaited notification regarding Recruitment of Probationary Officers for year 2015-16. This time, a preliminary Examination will be conducted tentatively in June 2015 to shortlist some candidates for main written test

    This time, Selection process will consist of two phases:

    Phase-I:  Preliminary Examination

    Preliminary Online examination consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks with 3 sections

    • English Language – 30 Qs   Marks 30
    • Quantitative Aptitude – 35 Qs  Marks 35
    • Reasoning – 35 Qs   Marks 35 
    • Total 100 Qs.  Composite Time – 1 hr. 

    Candidates have to qualify in each of the three tests by securing passing marks to be decided by the Bank. Shortlisted candidates (nearly 20 times of the numbers of vacancies) will be eligible to appear for Phase 2 exam.

    Phase – II: Main Examination:

    Main Examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and Descriptive Test for 50 marks (Both Tests will be online).

    Candidates will have to answer Descriptive test by typing on the computer which will be conducted after Objective test

    The Objective Test will have 4 Sections with 50 marks each (Total 200 marks) and the duration will be 2 hours:

    1. Test of English Language (Grammar, Vocabulary, Comprehension etc.)
    2. Test of General Awareness, Marketing &Computers
    3. Test of Data Analysis & Interpretation
    4. Test of Reasoning (High Level)

    The candidates are required to qualify in each of the Tests by securing passing marks, to be decided by the Bank.

    Descriptive Test: The Descriptive Test of 1 hour duration with 50 marks will be a Test of English Language (Letter Writing and Essay).

    Phase – III: Group Discussion (20 marks) & Interview (30 marks) for shortlisted candidates after Phase 2 test.
